Let’s Make Some Maui Folks SMILE :)

Good Saturday to you!

I mentioned recently that my husband and I have been working on a special project for the Hawaiian islands over the last few months. Well, last night we launched our website: Pray Hawaii and I’d love for you to check it out. We’ll blog over there, keeping you up to date with upcoming events for the local community in Maui, as well as ways you can connect with community organizations and ministries.

Pray Hawaii exists to connect you with the physical and spiritual needs of the Hawaiian islands. Often times Hawaii is thought of as simply a “destination place.” However, the sun still goes down in paradise and our desire is to come alongside existing ministries and community organizations on the islands to offer help where needed.

Even if you’ve never been to Hawaii you now have the opportunity to still be a blessing to the people. Let’s kick off this weekend by making an awesome Maui group smile: Please remember to help a local Maui organization – Feed My Sheep. With just your vote they could be one of forty groups that receive a $25,000 donation to help feed the hungry in Maui.

VOTE HERE – https://apps.facebook.com/sf_neighbor_assist/cause/2685/feed-my-sheep

You can vote for Feed My Sheep up to ten times each day now through April 22. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we came together and helped? It takes less than a minute and you can affect thousands of people with your clicks. Yay – I’m so excited!!!

Happy Saturday~
